My sewing in action:)
Some of you know I like to craft - actually one of these days I'll get some photos up of the blankets I made for Project Linus - but more to the point of this post - if you want to see some incredibly beautiful dance on Mother's Day weekend check out Crash Arts' Dance Straight Up at the Zero Arrow St. theater in Harvard Sq. I did some of the costume work for Debra Bluth + the Same Sea - but my sewing's not the reason to go to the performance- here's what the Boston Phoenix said about a past performance of Debra's work: "Debra Bluth’s solo Dodge was a dialogue between the dancer/choreographer and some off-stage force that she both desired and feared. She advanced toward it tentatively, shrank back, went through a series of emotions that were gripping without being pantomimic."
